Digital Scanner at Oakthorpe

We are excited to announce the arrival of our new digital scanner. This remarkable piece of equipment allows us to take scanned images which are knitted together to provide a 3D image of teeth and gums to share with our technicians via email. This will potentially allow us to forgo the need to take impressions (of course this is case selective).

Bringing the scanner into everyday use will make our working lives that much smoother and more efficient. It will also reduce our need for laboratory collections.

We are delighted to be able to invest in this new progressive technology and equipment.

May I take this opportunity to thank all the patients who very kindly allowed me to use this so far as it did require a learning curve! Your patience was much appreciated!
