What is Botox?

Botox is an injectable medication that helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The effect of Botox usually lasts four to six months after treatment.

How does it work?

The way Botox works is that it temporarily paralyses or relaxes muscle activity. It can smooth out wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance.

Is Botox painful?

Botox injections are virtually painless. Even without a numbing agent, pain is minimal, and you may only feel a little pinch. Injections are very quick and can usually be done within a 15 minute appointment.
