Rahul qualified from Sheffield University in 1996 and then worked in several general practices in Sheffield, Tamworth and Southwest London gaining extensive experience in general dentistry before buying a practice in Witney as a partnership.

In 2001 he undertook a PG Certificate course in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute where he learnt to critically evaluate his dentistry in the various disciplines of restorative dentistry, and it was during this period of learning and refection when he developed an interest in Endodontics.

Rahul took this forward and completed an MSc in Endodontics at Barts and Royal London. Currently he is also a council member for The British Endodontic Society (BES). He now joins Oakthorpe Dental as a dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics and we hope his service will prove very valuable to our patients.

In his spare time he enters various mountain and road biking events and before that he spent also twenty years as a competitive rower. Rahul will be shortly starting the British rowing coach qualification course to help support and inspire the next generation of rowers.

Testimonials

Sue Forteath

The practice environment is always spotless, pleasant and attractive.  (I particularly enjoy looking at the artwork on the walls, which helps me to relax before an appointment!)   All the staff are friendly and approachable.  Seetal is a kind, professional dentist who takes time to explain procedures and calm one’s nerves in a quiet, confident manner which is very reassuring.  The treatments I have undergone over several years have been carried out carefully, painlessly and with complete competence.  Emma my hygienist is very personable and always thorough and gentle with the cleaning process. I could not be happier with the service and would have no hesitation in recommending this practice.
